Job summary

Gailey Eye Clinic seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant / Scrub Tech to join our ophthalmology surgery center in an outpatient setting. The role supports pre-op through post-op care and collaborates with physicians, RNs, and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma and preferred Surgical Technologist and CPR certifications, with experience in ophthalmology or ASC settings desirable. Lifting up to 50 lbs and strong teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical suites, including supply setup and instrument readiness.
• Assist with patient preparation and/or discharge (vitals, gowning, comfort care).
• Support intraoperative care under RN and physician supervision.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
• Turn over and clean ORs; clean and sterilize instruments.
• Provide postoperative support and monitor patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Help train and orient new staff; validate competencies.

Location: Gailey Eye Surgery Center

Schedule: 3 Days/Week (Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday)

Are you looking to join a dedicated, friendly team in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting? We're hiring a CNA/Scrub Tech to support our ophthalmology surgery center and help deliver exceptional patient care.

Position Summary

The Scrub Tech plays a vital role in supporting our surgical team by providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing outpatient eye procedures. This position involves collaboration with physicians, RNs, CRNAs, administrative staff, and other team members to ensure smooth, efficient surgical care from pre-op through post-op. Success in this role requires flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
