Job summary

Langhorne Surgery Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) to support pain management and ophthalmology procedures in a busy outpatient setting in Langhorne, PA. Prepare the OR, maintain a sterile environment, and assist the surgical team throughout procedures.

We offer a weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays, competitive $35/hour pay, and a collaborative team focused on patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Maintain the sterile field and infection prevention protocols.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Prepare and position patients for surgery.
• Perform instrument and sponge counts before and after procedures.
• Clean, sterilize, and restock operating rooms between cases.
• Monitor surgical equipment and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and communicate patient-related information to the nursing team.
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and required training guidelines.

• At least 2 years of operating room experience
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential, where applicable
