Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a manager for an ophthalmic physician practice. The role oversees the clinical ophthalmologic team across locations, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care within established protocols.

You will direct orientation and learning, collaborate with the Practice Triad, and participate in policy development to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. This leadership position emphasizes service recovery and supply chain coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years experience in an ophthalmic office setting and 3 years experience in a management role.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures.
• COA - Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or COT - Certified Ophthalmic Medical Tech upon hire in PA.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient flow and proactively balances patient needs and resource utilization.
• Supervises, directly or indirectly, clinical ophthalmologic support team members.
• Directs orientation, assignments, learning, competency, and care delivery of the clinical ophthalmologic team members.
• Assesses the clinical needs of the practice in collaboration with the Practice Triad.
• Assists in development and implementation of policies, procedures, protocols, and standards for improved care and outcomes.
• Responds to and resolves patient complaints and maintains a service recovery system.
• Manages clinical supply chain for medications and equipment with the Practice Triad.
