Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a healthcare administrator to support ophthalmology operations in High Point, NC. You will coordinate policies, manage daily workflows, and ensure compliant, patient-centered service delivery within a large integrated system.

You will work closely with the Practice Manager, supervise staff, and help drive budgetaligned activities while supporting patient satisfaction and community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or healthcare/business management experience preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Supports Practice Manager in policy, procedures, and program administration.
• Manages day-to-day operations to deliver cost-effective healthcare services.
• Allocates staff, space, and equipment for efficient patient care.
• Follows clinical guidelines and facilitates collaboration between staff.
• Resolves patient complaints regarding charges, care, or service.
• Coordinates HR functions and vacation scheduling at the site.
• Contributes input for performance appraisals and coaching needs.
• Supports budget activities and financial planning with management.
• Participates in marketing and business development to raise community awareness.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, coding requirements, quality initiatives.
• Acts as liaison with administration, providers, and outside organizations.
• Monitors building maintenance and safety plans.
