Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II in the Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences department to support day-to-day clinical trial operations. You will recruit, screen, enroll, consent participants, and coordinate protocols across departments and sites.

You will manage data, assist with budget and timelines, prepare regulatory documents, and ensure IRB compliance while collaborating with investigators and staff to advance research goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical research coordination experience.
• Familiarity with genetics preferred.
• CITI training within 90 days of hire.
• Strong data management and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, enroll and obtain consent from program participants.
• Coordinate research protocols including arranging appointments and procedures with other departments and institutions.
• Collect, analyze, and disseminate research data.
• Prepare IRB documents and reports; evaluate and write research protocols with investigators.
• Maintain program timelines and budgets; track deadlines for program components.
• Coordinate outreach activities and liaise with community organizations.
