Job summary

Geisinger in Pittston, PA is seeking a Registered Clinic Nurse to join a collaborative care team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, daytime shifts, with at least two years of RN experience preferred.

This is a union position and includes comprehensive benefits and ongoing student support. The Clinic Nurse provides primary nursing care, educates patients, and supports physicians in diagnosis and treatment while maintaining adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• At least two (2) years of RN work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides primary nursing support to the physician and patient to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Promotes understanding of the condition and adheres to the treatment plan.
• Assists other team members on the unit.
• Oversees clinic flow and triages patient calls to facilitate appropriate treatment plans.
• Obtains and documents medical history, vital signs, and prepares patient for examinations.
• Monitors equipment and administers medications as directed.
