Paul Phillips Eye & Surgery Center in Flemington, NJ is seeking a Clinic Assistant to support a busy cataract surgeon with ophthalmic documentation, patient communication and in-office procedures.

The role requires strong ophthalmic knowledge, accurate charting, and the ability to work across three locations including Clinton and Bridgewater. Training on NextGen EHR is provided; prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients, physicians and coworkers.
• Strong understanding of ophthalmic terminology and patient documentation.
• Experience with EHR systems and billing processes preferred.

Responsabilités

• Succinctly summarize patient ophthalmic history and findings for the physician.
• Document patient visits and physician-patient interactions in the EHR.
• Code exams for billing and ensure timely submission to billing office.
• Assist physician with in-office procedures and testing.
• Travel to Flemington, Clinton, and Bridgewater locations as needed.
