Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a board-certified Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) to join our team as an Independent Medical Evaluator in Ohio. You will conduct impartial evaluations, rate permanent partial impairment, and prepare objective reports to assist claim adjudication.

Qualifications

• Board-certified ophthalmologist with medical license in Ohio or nearby state.
• Experience with IME/impairment rating exams preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impartial comprehensive medical evaluations per Ohio BWC guidelines.
• Perform Permanent Partial Impairment ratings.
• Document findings and write objective narrative reports within timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity.
