Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a board-certified Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) to join our team as an Independent Medical Evaluator. You will conduct impartial evaluations and author reports to support claim adjudication and case management.

Travel within Ohio is required. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations per Ohio BWC guidelines, performing PPIR ratings, documenting findings within timelines, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Ophthalmologist with an active license.
• Experience with IME/PPIR is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel within Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations per Ohio BWC guidelines.
• Perform Permanent Partial Impairment ratings using AMA 5th Edition.
• Document findings and provide clear, timely reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
