Jefferson Health seeks an Ophthalmologist to join the Emergency Department at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, PA. You will deliver urgent ophthalmic care within a dynamic academic environment.

Responsibilities include evaluating acute eye conditions, performing procedures, and teaching residents and students while collaborating with emergency medicine and subspecialists to improve patient outcomes.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency.
• Eligible for an unrestricted PA medical license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of urgent/emergent ophthalmic conditions.
• Manage a broad spectrum of acute eye conditions.
• Collaborate with ophthalmology subspecialists, emergency medicine physicians, and other clinicians.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures appropriate to training and privileges.
• Participate in supervision, mentorship, and education of residents and medical students.
