Formación

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in urgent and emergent ophthalmic conditions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with urgent ophthalmic conditions.
• Manage a broad spectrum of acute eye conditions including ocular trauma and infections.
• Collaborate with subspecialists and emergency physicians to coordinate timely, patient-centered care.
• Perform ophthalmic procedures within privileges and training.
• Educate ophthalmology residents and medical students as applicable.
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in academic activities including research and teaching.
