Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists with diagnosis and treatment. You will perform specialized eye exams and various diagnostic tests while maintaining efficient patient flow across clinics.

The role requires at least one year of ophthalmic technician experience and a preference for COA certification, with opportunities to assist in inventory and patient communication. Strong attention to privacy and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an ophthalmic technician required.
• One year experience in a customer facing position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized eye exam testing and streamline patient flow.
• Administer additional diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, corneal topography, and venipuncture.
• Assist with ophthalmic supplies inventory and instrument management.
• Provide phone support for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
