Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to examination or treatment room and prep for procedures.
• Perform basic and routine vision screenings and record data for interpretation.
• Operate ophthalmic equipment such as keratometry, refractometry, and imaging as directed.
• Administer eye medications and maintain ocular pharmacy knowledge.
• Clean and maintain ophthalmic instruments; perform clerical and reception duties.
• Register patients in PMIS and verify insurance information for claims.
• Process scheduling for appointments, surgeries, and testing; arrange follow-ups.
• Assist with billing, verify proper medical codes for remittance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
