Job summary

Bennett & Bloom Eye Center in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team on a PRN basis with training provided. You will assist physicians with preliminary tests, manage patient flow, verify insurance, and deliver excellent patient service.

Travel to other offices may be required; mileage reimbursement is provided. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; COA/COT is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Favorable background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow and assist with preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.

• Support general office duties as assigned.
