Job summary

Florida Eye Specialists is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to perform advanced ocular procedures, measurements and tests to support physicians and patient care. This role requires traveling to multiple Jacksonville locations as needed by clinic operations.

No experience is necessary—training will be provided. After a 90‑day probation, full‑time staff may access benefits including a 401k and profit sharing after one year.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (ophthalmology preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced ophthalmic procedures, measurements and tests to provide physician data and assist in patient care.
