Job summary

Florida Eye Specialists is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to perform advanced ocular procedures, measurements and tests to support physicians and patient care. This role requires traveling to multiple Jacksonville locations as needed by clinic operations.

No experience is necessary—training will be provided. After a 90‑day probation, full‑time staff may access benefits including a 401k and profit sharing after one year.

• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (ophthalmology preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner.

Summary

Due to the nature of the business, this position will be required to travel to multiple locations, based on clinic needs.

After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, Full Time employees will be eligible for the following benefits:
