Job summary

Austin Retina Associates is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Ophthalmic Technicians. You will work closely with physicians to support retina care, accompany patients through visits, and help protect sight daily.

No ophthalmic experience required—comprehensive training is provided. This entry point offers growth in a Top Workplaces environment with travel among Georgetown, Killeen, Temple, Liberty Hill, Granger and Waco.

Qualifications

• No ophthalmic experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping others.
• Willing to travel between clinics when needed.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and gather patients' medical histories and concerns.
• Perform vision testing and imaging under physician supervision.
• Prepare exam rooms and document clinical notes.
• Support physicians during treatments and procedures.
• Travel to Georgetown, Killeen, Temple, Liberty Hill, Granger & Waco locations as needed.
