Austin Retina Associates in Texas is seeking an entry-level traveling Ophthalmic Technician. This role trains on the job and travels to Georgetown, Killeen, Temple, Liberty Hill, Granger and Waco locations to support retina care.

No prior ophthalmic experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. You will work closely with physicians, perform vision testing, document notes, and help patients feel at ease while delivering high-quality eye care.

Qualifications

• No ophthalmic experience required; training provided.
• Travel to multiple clinics as part of the role.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and guide patients during visits, gathering medical histories.
• Perform vision testing and imaging, prepare exam rooms.
• Document clinical notes and support physicians during treatments.
• Travel between Georgetown, Killeen, Temple, Liberty Hill, Granger and Waco locations.
