Qualifications

JCAHPO certification preferred, or completion of the Ophthalmic Medical Assisting home study course within 6 months of date of hire.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for ophthalmic exams conducted by the Ophthalmologist.
Perform diagnostic testing and accurately document information in EMR.
Provide patient education as directed by physician’s care plan.
