Qualifications

• JCAHPO certification preferred, or completion of the Ophthalmic Medical Assisting home study course within 6 months of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for ophthalmic exams conducted by the Ophthalmologist.
• Perform diagnostic testing and accurately document information in EMR.
• Provide patient education as directed by physician’s care plan.
