Job summary

Reynolds & Anliker Eye Physicians & Surgeons seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing preliminary testing and patient prep. You will assist during visits and help ensure efficient clinic flow.

The role emphasizes patient care, accurate EMR documentation, and the ability to manage multiple tests such as OCT, visual fields, and topography while maintaining compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and thank them as they leave.
• Anticipate physician needs to facilitate clinic flow.
• Perform a variety of diagnostic tests including visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL Master, autorefractor and topography.
• Record patient history and current medications; confirm purpose of visit.
• Document all data in the EMR as procedures are performed.
• Prepare patients for treatments; measure vital signs as required.
• Open/close exam rooms and keep rooms stocked and clean.
