Reynolds & Anliker Eye Physicians & Surgeons in Emporia, KS is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing initial testing, recording patient data in EMR, and preparing patients for exams. You will assist with diagnostic tests and help maintain a smooth clinic flow while upholding HIPAA standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Must maintain HIPAA confidentiality and patient privacy.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients professionally and ensure a smooth clinic flow.
• Assist ophthalmologist with tests and patient prep.
• Record patient data in EMR and verify information.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as visual fields, OCT, and auto refractor.
• Prepare patients for treatments and vital signs as needed.
• Keep rooms stocked and prepared for procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of exam rooms.
