Job summary

EyeCare Partners LLC seeks an Ophthalmic Technician in Maryville, IL. You will assist ophthalmologists with tests such as OCT and refractions, prepare patients, and document data in the EMR to ensure efficient visits.

Starting pay is $19/hour with potential for higher based on experience. Full benefits, PTO, 401k, and maternity leave are offered. Must be reliable and able to travel to nearby locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Current COA/COT certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a professional attitude and ensure smooth flow of the clinic.
• Assist ophthalmologists with testing, measurements, and patient preparation.
• Record data in the EMR accurately and maintain patient records.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies; maintain a clean, stocked exam area.
