Job summary

Quantum Vision Centers in Godfrey, IL seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists during patient visits. You will perform initial testing, operate equipment, and help prepare patients for exams.

The position is full time, requires travel to nearby locations, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life, 401k with match, PTO and paid holidays. Starting pay is $19/hour with potential increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• COA/COT certification preferred but not required.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel to other locations; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient service in person or by phone.
• Greet patients professionally and manage flow of the clinic.
• Anticipate physician needs to facilitate clinic operations.
• Document patient information and medical history in EMR.
• Perform initial tests and operate ophthalmic equipment as directed.
