Job summary

Quantum Vision Centers is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists with patient testing and exam preparation. You will greet patients, assist in the clinic flow, and perform essential tests and measurements using EMR systems.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience; COA/COT is a plus. Competitive benefits, travel to nearby locations, and a starting pay of $19/hour apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Current COA or COT certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and thank them on departure.
• Anticipate physician needs to facilitate clinic flow.
• Record patient information and data in the EMR.
• Perform ophthalmic tests (e.g., visual acuity, dilated exam, OCT, etc.).
• Prepare patients for treatments and measure vital signs as needed.
