Quantum Vision Centers in Granite City, IL is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support ophthalmologists with patient testing and care. Responsibilities include performing initial tests (visual fields, OCT, etc.), recording data in EMR, and maintaining exam rooms while delivering exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience or training.
• Ability to comply with HIPAA confidentiality standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work across multiple locations as needed.
• Ability to maintain organization and patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient service in person or by phone.
• Greet patients professionally and manage intake.
• Assist ophthalmologist by performing initial tests.
• Record data in EMR and verify patient information.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Work overtime or weekends as required.
• Travel to other locations in the area as needed.
