EyeCare Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves assisting ophthalmologists with initial testing, preparing patients for exams, and documenting clinical data in EMR.

Some travel to other Cincinnati offices may be required with mileage reimbursement. The position requires providing excellent patient care, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and collaborating with a team in a fast-paced eye care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current COA or COT certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient service during every encounter (in person or via phone).
• Greet patients promptly and professionally, and thank them when they leave.
• Anticipate physician needs to facilitate clinic flow.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Document medical history and current medications; record data in EMR.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist with procedures as needed.
