Job summary

Cincinnati Eye Institute is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician (Glaucoma) to support ophthalmologists by performing initial tests and preparing patients for examinations in Blue Ash, OH. This role emphasizes accurate data entry into EMR, adherence to HIPAA, and excellent patient care.

The technician will aid in tests such as visual fields, OCT, and other diagnostic procedures, while maintaining a clean, well-stocked workspace and coordinating with the clinic team to keep patient flow efficient.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current COA or COT certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a professional attitude and manage patient flow.
• Assist ophthalmologists with testing and preparation prior to exams.
• Record patient data in EMR and verify information.
• Maintain exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked.
