Job summary

Chicago Eye Consultants in Stickney, IL is seeking an energetic Ophthalmic Technician to join our collaborative ophthalmology team. You will prep patients for exams, perform basic testing, and support physicians during procedures in a multi-specialty practice.

The ideal candidate is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician, or has equivalent experience. We offer regular hours, a supportive culture, and opportunities to grow while making a real difference in patients' lives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Make introductions and establish rapport with patients.
• Initiate patient evaluation and document ocular findings accurately.
• Perform pre-exam testing including visual acuity, tonometry, and other screenings.
• Assist physicians during minor procedures and surgeries in the office.
• Travel to other locations to support clinical needs.
