Job summary

Duly Health and Care seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to join a physician-led, patient-centered team. The role supports ophthalmology exams, imaging, and patient care across Oak Lawn and Tinley Park with travel to Joliet/Hinsdale as needed.

Responsibilities include patient communication, documenting in the EMR, and performing ophthalmic testing under supervision. A High School diploma and COT certification (or in process) are required, with at least two years in ophthalmology/optometry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in ophthalmology/optometry setting.
• Experience with standard ophthalmic evaluation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients with respect and professionalism.
• Communicates with patients about processes during visits.
• Assists in ocular examinations, imaging and procedures.
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation.
• Adheres to HIPAA and clinic policies.
