Paul K Dyer, MD Ophthalmology seeks a detail-oriented ophthalmic technician to join our busy practice. You will document patient histories, perform basic diagnostic tests, and support ophthalmologists during procedures in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• COA, COT, OSC certification or 2+ years in ophthalmic setting.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records and ophthalmic diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of ophthalmology medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Document medical history, chief complaints, medications and vitals to initiate patient evaluations.
• Perform Visual Acuity, Tonometry, Pupillary Evaluation.
• Operate OCT, Fundus, IOL, Visual Fields and Refraction equipment.
• Assist ophthalmologists with minor in-office procedures and laser treatments.
