Qualifications

• Requires COA/COT/OSC or 2+ years ophthalmic experience.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and ophthalmic diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication, organization and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Initiate patient work-ups by documenting medical history, chief complaints, medications and vital signs.
• Perform Visual Acuity, Tonometry and Pupillary evaluations.
• Operate OCT, Fundus, IOL, Visual Fields and Refraction equipment.
• Assist ophthalmologists with minor in-office procedures and laser treatments.
• Educate patients on eye health, medications, contact lens use, and post-care.
