Job summary

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston (OCB) in Sandwich, MA, is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician II to support physicians with comprehensive eye care. The role focuses on data collection, visual testing, refractometry and patient care within a busy clinic.

Requirements include COA/COT/COMT or equivalent certifications, at least 3 years of COA/COT/COMT/OCT-C experience, and strong teamwork and technical skills. Full-time, no nights or weekends, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as COA/COT/COMT/OSC/CRA/OCT-C.
• Certification in ophthalmic specialties is required.
• Strong math and science foundation to support diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual acuity and visual field testing for patients.
• Conduct lensometry, auto refractometry and refractometry.
• Assess pupils, extraocular motility and perform tonometry.
• Instill eye drops and assist in clinical procedures; maintain records.
