Job summary

Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Inc. in Weymouth, MA seeks an Ophthalmic Technician II to support doctors with patient data collection and testing. You will conduct visual acuity testing, tonometry, refraction, and related exams while maintaining a clean clinical environment.

Under supervision, you will manage patient records, operate equipment, and assist with diagnostic testing. A COA/COT/COMT/OSC/CRA/OCT-C certification and a minimum of 3 years’ ophthalmic experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of ophthalmic experience preferred.
• Certifications in COA/COT/COMT/OSC/CRA/OCT-C are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual acuity and other ophthalmic tests.
• Assist physicians and maintain patient records.
• Operate ophthalmic equipment and support exam flow.
• Document findings and ensure accurate data entry.
