Katzen Eye Group is searching for a patient focused, experienced Ophthalmic Technician for our Lutherville, Md. office with travel to our other close in Baltimore Metro office locations - No late evenings, no major holidays or Sundays, a robust benefits package, a team oriented working environment where you are seen, heard and respected as well as clear career ladder opportunities.
Our Top Candidate must bring at least one year of previous, verifiable experience as an Ophthalmic Technician or two years as an Optometric Technician in a busy practice.

The Ophthalmic Technician will perform a range of duties which include preparing the patient to see Ophthalmologist and/or Optometrist and conduct preliminary exam and captures medical history. In addition, the preparation of examination and treatment rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning, and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures may be required. Travel to other locations may also be necessary to support clinical needs.
