Vision Innovation Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician I to join our patient care team in Bucks County, PA. The role emphasizes assisting providers with diagnostic and treatment procedures and handling administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and prior medical field experience. On-the-job training is available to help you grow into a career path as an ophthalmic technician or scribe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in the medical field (MA, scribe, PCT, CNA, pharm tech, etc.).
• Experience with EMR tools.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ophthalmic technician or scribe experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and verify information.
• Perform visual function tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Use Humphrey field analyzer and OCT to measure eyes.
• Inform ophthalmologist about changes in vision.
• Dilate eyes to prepare patients for exams.
• Explain how to use eye drops or medications.
• Explain contact lens usage.
• Assist with inventory management.
