Atlantic Vision Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician I to support ophthalmologists and optometrists in delivering high-quality patient care. The company offers on-site training and paid certifications to foster growth.

Responsibilities include taking patient history, determining visual acuity, performing automated refraction, administering eye drops, and documenting data in the EMR. Role requires light-to-moderate travel between offices and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and document patient history.
• Follow office workup protocols.
• Determine visual acuity.
• Perform automated refraction.
• Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by a physician.
• Enter data into EMR and provide patient services.
• Measure intraocular pressure (tonometry).
• Pre-operative preparation of patient.
• Maintain equipment and instruments.
