Atlantic Vision Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician I to support ophthalmologists and optometrists in delivering high-quality patient care. On-site training and paid certifications foster growth across our 45 clinics in Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

The role involves patient history, VA testing, refractions, eye drop administration, EMR data entry, and clinic duties. Must be flexible for travel between offices and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Travel to various offices as required.
• Detail oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years in eye care preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Obtain and document patient history
• Follow office workup protocols
• Determine visual acuity
• Perform automated refraction
• Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by a physician
• Enter data into EMR and provide patient services
• Measure intraocular pressure (tonometry)
• Pre‑operative preparation of patient
• Maintain equipment and instruments
