Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Nextech/ICP software experience strongly preferred.
• Ophthalmic and/or optometric technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient chart to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
• Performs testing ordered by doctor based on exam type, patient history, and complaint.
• Acts as a medical scribe, entering data into electronic medical records.
• Takes ocular and systemic history and records visual acuity.
• Assists with topical ophthalmic or oral medications under physician direction.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of exam rooms and complies with protocols.
