Job summary

Eye Health America is looking for a dedicated ophthalmic technician to support our doctors in eye examinations and procedures. Located in Columbus, Georgia, you will perform patient workups, vision tests, and assist in maintaining ophthalmic instruments.

West Georgia Eye Care Center, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a dedicated ophthalmic technician to assist doctors in eye examinations and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in eye examinations and procedures.
• Perform patient workups, vision tests, and collect medical data.
• Schedule and monitor patient flow, including scribing.
• Take ocular measurements (anatomical and functional).
• Administer or prepare medications.
• Provide eye care and contact lens information to patients.
• Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments.
• Assist doctors in basic procedures.

Must be willing to travel to our clinic locations if needed. Overtime may be required.
