We are hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support a high-volume ophthalmic practice focused on providing quality and compassionate eye care services. This role requires strong customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and a degree of independent decision-making.

Responsibilities include:

• Obtaining and documenting patient history
• Determining visual acuity
• Performing automated refraction
• Administering eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions as ordered by the physician
• Performing office duties and clinical tasks, including data entry into EMR
• Providing patient services
• Maintaining equipment and instruments
• Traveling to other offices as required, with dependable transportation
• Being flexible with travel between locations
• Paying attention to detail and maintaining confidentiality
• Seeking instruction in areas of less knowledge
• Recognizing inconsistencies

Minimum Education Requirement:

• Graduation from an accredited high school
