Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Tinley Park is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support physicians in a busy eye care practice. This full-time role requires performing ophthalmic assessments and data collection, preparing patients, and documenting in the EMR with HIPAA compliance.

Travel to Joliet/Oak Lawn clinics when needed and a Monday–Friday schedule with 8:00 AM–5:30 PM hours. Candidates should have a High School diploma and COT certification or be in process, with at least 2 years in

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• COT certification or in progress required.
• COT certification must be obtained within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection functions to aid diagnosis as delegated by the physician.
• Interact with patients with respect and professionalism.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Provide telephone support for ocular emergencies, refills, and questions.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) or in process

Must get COT certification within one year
