Bay Area Retina Associates in the Bay Area seeks a patient-focused ophthalmic assistant to support clinicians across multiple offices. The role includes testing eye function, preparing exam rooms, handling inventory, and assisting with clinical trials as needed.

Travel between Antioch, Brentwood, and Walnut Creek locations is expected; responsibilities also include patient check-in, insurance verification, and daily reconciliation.

Formación

• Excellent patient relations, ability to handle multiple tasks, and strong communication.
• One year of past medical clinic experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Test patient’s eye function and record results in EMR.
• Prepare and close exam rooms, restock, and manage inventory.
• Assist with consents, authorizations, and follow-up scheduling.
• Provide insurance verification, eligibility, and co-pay collection.
• Travel between multiple offices as needed and support physicians across locations.
