Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc is seeking a detail‑oriented Front Desk/Receptionist for our retina clinic in Northern California. This full‑time role supports patient flow, checks in patients, and ensures accurate data entry in the EHR system.

You will greet patients, collect histories, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and assist with basic imaging coordination while upholding HIPAA standards and delivering compassionate patient service.

Formación

• Clear verbal and written communication required.
• Ability to plan, exercise initiative, problem solve and make decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in an unsupervised environment and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain chart from office.
• Call patient back by first and last name and verify DOB.
• Greets patients warmly and introduces self and role to patient and family.
• Complete a patient history and obtain quality OCT.
• Accurately enter chief complaint and all information in EHR.
• Schedule patient/reschedule patients and maintain clinic flow.
• Understand emergency protocols and HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
