Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to support the eye clinic with pre-exam testing, medication administration and patient care across ages. The role reports to the Clinic Manager and Eye Clinic Providers, with no supervisory duties.

Full-time hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Requires high school diploma and ability to obtain Basic Life Support within six months, plus strong written/oral communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain Basic Life Support within six months of hire.
• Onsite training and competency evaluation included.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-exam testing under supervision.
• Administer medications as directed by providers.
• Support laboratory and routine office duties as needed.
• Adhere to confidentiality and Broadlawns policies.
