Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support the Eye Clinic. The technician will perform pre-exam testing, medication administration, and related patient-care tasks under the supervision of Eye Clinic Providers and Clinic Manager. This full-time role requires basic Life Support certification within six months, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse patients in a clinic setting.

On-site hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass Basic Life Support within six months of hire.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-exam testing and medication administration.
• Handle laboratory and office duties as needed.
• Support patients of all ages in the clinic setting.
• Report to Clinic Manager and Eye Clinic Providers.
