Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to support the Eye Clinic. The technician will perform pre-exam testing, medication administration, and related patient-care tasks under the supervision of Eye Clinic Providers and Clinic Manager. This full-time role requires basic Life Support certification within six months, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse patients in a clinic setting.
On-site hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Ophthalmic/Optometric Technician will report directly to the Clinic Manager and under the direction of the Eye Clinic Providers will perform pre-exam testing, medication administration, and other patientcare tasks as assigned for patients of all ages, gender, cultures, and backgrounds in the clinic setting. The Ophthalmic Technician will also perform laboratory and office duties as needed. This position has no supervisory responsibility.
