Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support the Eye Clinic with pre-exam testing, medication administration and ancillary duties. This full-time role is 32 hours per week, supporting patient care across ages and backgrounds in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, BLS certification within six months, and strong written and verbal communication, plus basic computer skills to manage patient records and clinic equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers within six months of hire.
• Ability to participate in onsite training and demonstrate competency through testing and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-exam testing and medication administration for patients in the Eye Clinic.
• Provide laboratory and general office duties as needed in clinic.
• Assist Eye Clinic providers and support staff to ensure patient care and clinic efficiency.
