ICON Eyecare is seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist for our Denver-area clinics. The role greets patients, handles calls, answers questions, and explains fees and payment options, while coordinating appointments and basic billing tasks. Training is offered to the right candidate.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of patient care experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Two years of patient/customer care experience (or equivalent).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients as they arrive at the office in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer, assist, and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
• Answer general patient questions about procedures and refer questions beyond scope.
• Quote and discuss surgical fees, service fees, co-pays, payment policies and financing options with patients.
• Check patients in and out and schedule any needed appointments.
• Bill out visits through insurance, collect payments, and enter correct CPT/ ICD-10 codes to ledger.
• Assist with end of day counts and prepare accurate daily deposits.
