Whatcom Eye Surgeons, a progressive ophthalmic medical and surgical practice in Washington, is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. We train the right candidate for this role and emphasize outstanding patient care and accurate documentation of ocular examinations.
You will assist ophthalmologists with patient workups, testing, medications, and in-office lasers and procedures, while maintaining patient flow and professional standards.

Work in a team-oriented clinical environment, taking pride in and providing outstanding patient care. Team members are responsible for providing accurate documentation and summarization of the ocular examination and recommendations. Maintained patient flow and communication regarding appointment status. Assist the Ophthalmologists by performing ophthalmic clinical functions, such as patient workups and special testing. May administer eye medications and instruct the patient in the care and treatment of eye conditions, apply dressings to the eye, and assist with in-office lasers and procedures.
