Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia seeks an Ophthalmic Assistant to support eye screenings and diagnostic testing under the supervision of an ophthalmologist.

This role also provides clerical/administrative support and may travel to other departments and satellite offices to assist the practice.

Qualifications

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings required for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED, or relevant experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant within 12 months of hire.
• Experience and skills in clerical tasks, Epic, and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel to satellite offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide eye screening and diagnostic testing under ophthalmologist supervision.
• Offer clerical/administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

Schedule:

Mon - Fri 7:45a - 8:15p. The scheduled start and end times require flexibility to meet the needs of the practice.

In addition to working at the Hospital (Front and Erie Avenue), there will be travel to our other departments/satellite offices to provide support as needed.
